[email protected] GENERAL GUIDELINES For more information about the following policies, please read the DU Intramural Sports Guide to Participation. DU Pioneer ID Cards: No ID, No Play, No Exceptions!!! All participants must present a valid DU Pioneer Card to the appropriate Intramural Sports staff member on site in order to play. Drug and Alcohol Policy: Under no circumstances are drugs or alcohol allowed at an intramural event. Any participant that is caught with drugs or alcohol or under the influence of drugs or alcohol during an intramural event will be immediately ejected from the game, asked to leave the facility, and will be suspended indefinitely from all intramural sports until further notice. Intramural staff will call higher authorities if necessary. Participants that are ejected for drugs and alcohol may warrant further action by the University of Denver. Participants are the responsibility of the team captain and must abide by the Drug and Alcohol Policy, as well. Please refer to the complete Drug and Alcohol Policy located in our Guide to Participation.
SPORT SPECIFIC RULES Racquetball will be self-officiated and games are to be set up by participants, with the help of a contact list provided by Intramural Sports once registration concludes.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS The league is a singles league.
EQUIPMENT
The Coors Fitness Center staff has racquets and balls for check out. Participants may bring their own racquet and balls.
ELIGIBILITY For purposes of determining Varsity Athlete, Club Sports Athlete, and Professional Athlete status, any form of racquetball is considered a related sport to Racquetball.
THE GAME All matches will consist of the best two out of three games. The first 2 games will be played to 15 points. rd If a 3 game is needed, it will be played to 11 points. Games may be won by one point.

GAME PLAY Each participant may play an opponent up to 3 times during the regular season. Winners will receive 3 points, while losers will receive 1 point. This encourages participants to play as many times as possible. A player who only plays 3 matches and wins them all will have 9 points, but someone who plays in 6 matches and only wins 2 will have 10 points.
SCORE REPORTING The winner of each match will email their scores into
[email protected]. Example: J Doe won 15-6, 7-15, 11-8 on 4/19/17 against D Pios
Scores will be posted on IMLeagues, so everyone knows what has been submitted and recorded.
PLAYOFFS Each season, the Intramural Sports Office will provide participants their deadline to play & submit scores to
[email protected]. Once the deadline is over, the office will provide the matchups for post-season play. Depending on number of participants, not all participants may qualify for playoffs. Winners of each bracket will receive a shirt!
