OTM BOOK 7 TRAINING Mississauga, February 21 The Ontario Traffic Manual’s Book 7 (Temporary Conditions) has been developed to provide basic uniform requirements for traffic control in work zones during roadway or utility construction and maintenance operations on or adjacent to public highways including ramps and municipal roads and streets, (as well as other public ways to which road traffic has access). Attendees who successfully complete this course will receive a letter and certificate of completion. For details and registration visit: www.otc.org/ events

TECHNICAL TRAFFIC OPERATIONS COURSE Aylmer, April 9-20 This course will focus on providing participants with a basic overview of all aspects of traffic engineering including an understanding of the various types of traffic control devices and how to use them. This course will provide attendees with the ability to review a traffic problem and determine possible approaches to solve it.
TRANSPORTATION MODELLING SYMPOSIUM Mississauga, March 2 The OTC is holding its 1st Transportation Modelling Symposium, featuring speakers presenting traffic and transportation topics covering macro, meso, and microsimulation traffic modelling analysis applications.
