RANCH RODEO Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement The undersigned person is the participant, parent, legal guardian, or other person(s) authorized by the laws of the State of Alabama to execute the waiver and release of liability and indemnity agreement on behalf of the TEAM listed above (“participants”), who desire to participate in one or more events and activities sponsored, organized, sanctioned, and/or held at the facilities provided by/for the Alabama Cowboy Churches Fall Gathering. Therefore, in consideration of being allowed to participate in the events or activities the undersigned agrees as follows: 1. The undersigned acknowledges that the Code of Alabama in 6-5-337 states: WARNING: UNDER ALABAMA LAW, AN EQUINE ACTIVITY SPONSOR OR EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES, PURSUANT TO THE EQUINE ACTIVITIES LIABILITY PROTECTION ACT. 2. The undersigned also acknowledges that no participant or representation of a participant shall make any claim against, maintain an action against, or recover from an equine-activity sponsor, an equine professional, or any other person for injury, loss, damage, or death of the participant resulting from any of the inherent risks of equine activities. 3. The undersigned, individually and on behalf of participant, FOREVER RELEASES, DISCHARGES AND AGREES TO HOLD HARMLESS ALABAMA COWBOY CHURCHES, AFCC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, AND EMPLOYEES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY OR CLAIMS OF LIABILITY DUE TO ALL CLAIMS AND OR EXPENSES THEY MAY INCUR ARISING OUT OF THE PARTICIPANT’S INVOLVEMENT IN AN ACTIVITY AS DEFINED ABOVE. 4. The undersigned hereby declares that they have read the terms of this Agreement and fully understand and voluntarily accept its terms and conditions and therefore, by signing this Agreement, waive all claims, past, present or future they may have against Alabama Cowboy Churches Fall Gathering, its officers, directors, volunteers, agent and employees. 5.
