History: Prior to 2007 Rancho Santa Fe Estates Water Co. was the exclusive supplier of water to the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club with annual billings of approximately $300,000. In 2007 the club reached an agreement with the grey water recycling company due to higher salt content in the water supply. After 2007 the usage was set and guaranteed at $70,000 per year. In addition within the adjoining subdivision a number of select homes are purchasing water at a cost of $15,000 per year. The water is used for irrigation purposes and is not considered to be potable. The well is in excellent condition and requires no maintenance. The well is on leased ground at no cost to the operator of the well. There are additional rights preserved for expanded drilling exclusively to the Rancho Santa Fe Estates Water Co.
