DIRECTIONS Travelling from Norwich in a north easterly direction on the A1151, proceed through Rackheath to Wroxham. Cross over the River Bure and over the next roundabout into Stalham Road. Continue past Beeston St Lawrence Church and turn left immediately BEFORE Hall Road signposted Dilham. Take the first right and continue to the T junction and turn left. Randalls Cottages will be found on the left hand side. LOCATION Randalls Cottages are situated about a mile from Tunstead; a rural village ideally located for access to the Broads and to the North Norfolk Coast, 12 miles north east of the Cathedral City of Norwich. The village has a well rated by Ofsted primary school and there is a farmer’s market at Wroxham Barns. Stalham is about 4 miles with a supermarket and range of shops, a butcher and garage. Wroxham has a further range of shops, a health centre, banks, hairdressers and dentists. Barton Broad is a popular sailing venue and further leisure facilities in the area include boating, fishing, and bird watching on the many Broads accessible from Wroxham. The attractive sandy beaches are ideal for walks on the Coast or in the countryside within the Broads. The National Trust owned Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are open to the public, and Bewilderwood Theme Park offers a highly rated children’s attraction venue. Schools in the area include a preparatory school at Beeston and Taverham and a public school at Greshams in Holt, in addition to the wide selection of schools in Norwich. The Bittern railway line runs from Sheringham to Norwich, and rail times from Wroxham take 15 minutes to Norwich, where onward connections to London Liverpool Street take about 110 minutes. Norwich Airport is about 11 miles where flights to Amsterdam take about an hour and from where flights can be caught to international destinations.
