Razer Ouroboros Battery Replacement
INTRODUCTION From time to time, the rechargeable battery in this mouse will need to be replaced. This replacement is quite simple and straight forward. Only one piece must be removed in order to access the battery. Please note, this device can only use rechargeable batteries. If there has been damage to the battery, contacting the Razer Tech support is the best option. For this job, you will need the PH 00 screwdriver. That is the only tool needed here.

Step 1 — Battery
Begin by turning the mouse upside down.
Loosen the two captive screws circled in the first image.
These screws do NOT come out, they merely loosen.
Slide the palm rest toward the back of the mouse. It should slide down its track and come right off.
Step 2
This is the bottom of the palm rest.

Turning the knob highlighted by the red circle will change the height of the palm rest for maximum comfort.

Step 3
The battery compartment is on the back side and is easily viewed once the palm rest is removed. Simply push up gently and the hinged battery door opens from the bottom
Place the new battery into circular slot shown in the picture. The battery should be placed in positive side first.
You must use rechargeable batteries in this mouse.
