RDA – SOUTH EAST REGION TRAINING DAY for Riding Groups WEDNESDAY October 5th 2016 at SANDS FARM, WARNHAM, W. SUSSEX, RH12 3SQ Programme 9.30 am Coffee and registration followed by Chairman’s welcome 10.00-11.00 am SESSION A for coaches Lesson planning for different disabilities and mixed disability sessions withFiona Dent BHSII,SC,T,RDAC and Annie Irving RDAC (with reference to TTLP units 1 and 11) 10.00-11.00 am SESSION B for volunteers “The best they can do” with Jenna Leight RDAC Rosemary Harrison RDAC and Anthea Pell MCSP RDAC (with reference to TTLP unit 1)
11.15am-12.45 pm for all Dressage- what the judge is looking for and your chance to judge a dressage test (with reference to TTLP unit 11) with Penny Pegrum BHSI and riders from the SE Region 12.45-1.20 LUNCH BREAK Please note shorter time to accommodate our wonderful afternoon session 1.30-2.45 pm (approx.) for all Disability awareness with special reference to communications with Cassie Moss from My guide (Guide Dogs for the blind ) and the physio team Anthea Pell -MCSP RDAC (Paediatric physiotherapist), Margaret Andrews – MSCP Sarah Groom – MCSP RDAGC (Paediatric Physiotherapist) Julie Oberstoetter - MCSP (Paediatric Physiotherapist)
This Training Day is open to all and has a theme of “Disability Awareness” Eligible instructors may use this training day as an “approved review” but MUST fill in the appropriate section on the application form and MUST bring their log books! If unsure about eligibility please contact Gilly or your County Coach. You must be a RDAGI/RDAGC and have 3 satisfactory reviews in your log book and can only use this method of review for every alternate due review

Tea, coffee and soup will be provided but you are reminded to bring your lunch also a chair and pen and paper and your log book if using session as approved review . Please return to Annie Irving [email protected] or Hyeswood, Guildford Road, Rudgwick, West Sussex RH12 3BX Cost : £5 per person payable at beginning of session. Groups will be charged for all reserved places unless they notify us in advance that a booked place is no longer required.
