Join BCA for Kids and learn about the work of Bush Church Aid
Banjo – our mascot Bilbies are small marsupial animals. They live in burrows which can be up to two metres long! They are nocturnal which means that they become active at night and sleep during the day!
So what is BCA for Kids? Do you want to have fun and learn about Bush Church Aid’s work in Australia? Then BCA for Kids is for you! BCA wants everyone in Australia to hear about Jesus, especially if they live in the bush. By being a BCA kid, you can help BCA to spread the good news across the whole country.
A wild bilby
If you want to see a bilby in the wild you have to go to South Australia, the Northern Territory or Western Australia (if you’re really fortunate you might see one in other parts of Australia as well). They are really shy animals though so you have to look out for them – because they are so rare you should consider it a very special treat to see a bilby in the wild!
Banjo Bilby The bilby was chosen as the mascot for BCA for kids because bilbies only live in Australia and are endangered. This means that there aren’t many bilbies left and they need to be saved. Everybody in Australia needs to be saved through Jesus and BCA works to spread the gospel throughout Australia so people can learn more about him – otherwise Christians might become endangered!
BCA for Kids is a wonderful opportunity for children from across our nation to praise God for all that He has done for mission through Bush Church Aid.
