New Sisters in Christ
Feliz Navidad 2016
We are thrilled that several of our young ladies from the Bethel house, Ana, Sarai, Rosario and Nahomi were baptized into Christ in their church recently along with 3 other women from the local congregation. We also praise God that 2 women were baptized in the river in the village of Chilapa. It is great to see how the Word is Women baptized by Pastor spreading in the Jorge in Chilapa villages and leading people to a saving relationship with Christ!
#GivingTuesday Update WOW - we are SO THANKFUL for the generous outpouring for the newer vans for the Niños families!!
Our goal for #GivingTuesday was $30,000 and you all exceeded this goal by $2,500
There are few times of the year with such excitement around all of our homes. The trees are decorated and the presents are all purchased. The special meals and activities are all coming together in each of the homes. And we are just about ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus this coming weekend!
The Niños Family - Summer 2016
There is something else that I am excited about! The week after Christmas, 30+ members of the Niños family will be going down to the mountains of Puebla on a "missions trip" to help several members of the churches there with construction projects. We also plan to help paint the inside of the the new section of the Chilapa church building. Thanks to many donations from the community we will be taking along extra gifts of toys and clothing to share with the people there!

Our goal will be to buy two newer vans for the homes with the funds we raised! In fact we put a down payment on the first van TODAY!! A special THANK YOU to those who supported us by providing the matching gifts that helped us to achieve this goal.

in each home for Christmas, all together on New Years Eve and then the homes will have a simple celebration on January 6th to celebrate Kings Day.

Year End Giving Ideas Emanuel Family 2016
There is still time to give a special gift to continue blessing children here in Mexico. Click on the image below to see the many ways you can still contribute to Niños de Mexico!
We want to introduce you to another Niños family this month. The Emanuel family is presently a family of boys and girls who range in age from 4 to 18 years old. This home was opened in March of 2014 when we received a family of 6 kids. Since then the family has grown to 13. Most of these kids came with very little education but have worked extremely hard to advance in their education. We are proud of each of them!! Reme and Gaby have their hands full taking care of these children! They have been an integral part of helping the children to catch up in their education. Just last week we added one young man to the Emanuel family - Donavan (13). He and his sister Kenya (12) will celebrate their first Christmas with us this weekend. This past year we added a homework room onto the house and also divided one of the large rooms into individual rooms making the spaces more private and allowing us space to take in additional children! We would like to ask you to keep the children and their house parents in your prayers. Also pray for the next children who will join the Emanuel family!
