2017 Missions Celebration Sunday: Please mark your calendar for September 10 th for our Mission Celebration Sunday. We will celebrate our mission’s involvement for 2017 and receive a special offering toward our mission trips for 2018. Our goal is $20,000. We have received $7,020.00. Van Riders: If you need a ride or know of someone who does, please contact Scott at 864-280-4101 This year the Foothills Crisis Pregnancy Center is having its annual golf Tournament in September. We are doing a church challenge with Foothills church to see who can raise the most money to save babies lives. We will have a collection bottle at the front of the church from now until September. Please put your loose change, or currency, in the bottle. If writing a check, please make it payable to Foothills Pregnancy Center. Perry. Prayer Shawl Meetings: Every 2 nd and 4th Tuesday of the month @ 6:30 pm. (August 22 nd) Grief Share’s next meeting will be Tuesday, August 15 th @ 6:00 Nominating Committee Report: The report will be voted on TODAY, following the evening service. Scott Burrell, Steve Compton, John Campbell and the church staff served on this committee. We appreciate their work. Choir Notes: In preparation for John and Lenette’s 30 th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday morning, August 20 th, we want to fill up the choir loft with anyone who has ever sang in the choir or has a desire to sing and lead worship. We are holding one rehearsal Wednesday night, August 16 th from 6:30 – 7:30. Please come fill the loft and help us celebrate what God has done and continues to do.
