Annie Armstrong Easter Offering: We will receive this special offering for North American Missions through the end of April. Make sure you mark your offering “Annie Armstrong”.
Mission News: Romania – April 16 – 26, 2015 The team will consist of Pastor John, Glenda Jones, Christi Crenshaw, Debra Woolbright, and Joey Woolbright.
2015 Centrifuge Youth Camp / June 29-July 3 Walt Barnes, Camp Pastor: The cost is $140 per student with a discount for multiple students in a family. There is a $50 deposit per student that is nonrefundable. The second payment of $45 is due TODAY, March 29th and the third payment of $45 will be due April 26 th. To sign up see Donna Burrell.
Canada Mission Trip - July 4 – 11, 2015 Kid’s Camp: Attention all rising 3 rd Graders – 6th Graders: It’s time to Sign Up for Camp!! The total cost will be $120.00. A deposit of $25 is past due. Camp dates are August 6 – 9. You can see Jeff or Carrie to pay your deposit or for more information.
Silver Warriors: April meeting will be Thursday, April 9 @ 10:30. Meet at the church for devotion and then out for lunch at a local restaurant.
No AWANA this coming Wednesday, April 1 due to Spring Break.
Senior Adult Spring Celebration: Mt Pleasant Baptist Church, April 21 @ 10:30. We will be leaving at 9:45 to attend. Please bring a covered dish to share. Meats will be provided. John McKnight, Sr will be the guest speaker.
Baby Shower: We will be having a church wide Baby Shower for Briana & Justin on Sunday, April 12, following the evening service. They are registered at Babies R Us & Target. “It’s a Boy!”
Looking Ahead: Easter Sunday: April 5, Sunday School and Morning Services only. No evening service.
Attention Graduates: If you are graduating from High School, College, or “beyond”, please let Jennifer Adams or the church office know. We need to get a packet to you for our graduation service which will be Sunday, May 24 at 6:00 pm
Decorate the Cross: Glenda Jones will be here this coming Saturday, April 4 between 9:00 & noon to put fresh flowers on the cross in the front of the church. If you would like, you can bring your fresh flowers during this time to make the cross come alive, just like our Savior did!
Care Packages: Please remember to turn in your information to Christi Crenshaw or Allyson Davis if you have a family member who currently serves in our armed forces so they can receive a care package. Nursery Schedule
Cookbooks: 3 of our Hepsibah cookbooks from 2011 have been found. They are $15 apiece. If you would like to purchase one, contact Debbie in the church office. They are “first come, first serve”.
