God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be So He put his arms around you and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and watched you fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us that He only takes the best. It’s lonely here without you. We miss you more each day. Life doesn't seem the same since you went away. When days are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong, We seem to hear you whisper, Cheer up and carry on. Each time we see your picture you seem to smile and say, Don’t cry, I’m in God’s hands. We’ll meet again some day.

For those I love… For those who love me. When I an gone, release me, let me go… I have so many things to see and do. You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears, Be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it is time to travel alone. So grieve awhile for me, if you must. Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It’s only for a while that we must part, so bless the memories with your heart. I won’t be far away, for life goes on, so if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near. And if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear all of my love around you, soft and clear. And then when you must come this way alone, I’ll greet you with a smile and say, Welcome Home.

What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited… It cannot cripple love, It cannot erode faith, It cannot eat away peace, It cannot destroy confidence, It cannot kill friendship, It cannot shutout memories, It cannot silence courage, It cannot invade the soul, It cannot reduce eternal life, It cannot quench the spirit, It cannot lessen the power of resurrection.
