Entering 1st-4th Grade: Monday-Thursday, 9-11 a.m. Entering 5th-8th Grade: Monday-Thursday, 9-11 a.m. All High School Students: Monday-Thursday, 6-8:30 p.m. Nick Archer—championship coach and founder of the ELHS boys’ and girls’ soccer program—lends his skills and expertise to ELHS girls’ varsity soccer coach Jeff Lyon; current and former ELHS soccer players; and community coaches to offer East Lansing’s premier soccer camp. The Archer Trojan Community Soccer Camp will offer participants at all levels a challenging and rewarding experience that will help them gain an understanding of teamwork and sportsmanship; learn the game of soccer; and develop age-appropriate skills—in a safe, positive, nurturing environment. All of the camps are held at the East Lansing Soccer Complex.
Mid-Michigan Sports Hall of Fame and Michigan High School Soccer Association Hall of Fame Coach Nick Archer
Morning sessions are an introduction to soccer. Campers entering grades 1-4 and 5-8 will learn the rules, fundamentals and beginning-level skills with group and individual instruction. Evening sessions are for grades 9-12 and are designed to challenge intermediate players to build on their skills; provide group and individual instruction; and prepare students for interscholastic play. Goalkeeping instruction East Lansing High School varsity girls’ soccer Coach Jeff Lyon will be provided. HSSSL: register for one week only.
