Tuition–Free After-School Dance Classes!!!
Registration: Tuesday, August 29 4:00-6:00 pm (space is limited; first come, first served)
Ballet Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the following times: Primary Ballet (A) 3:30-4:30pm (for ages 6-9 years of age) KDHSA students only! Primary Ballet (B) 4:30-5:30pm (for ages 6-9) Level 1 Ballet 5:30-6:30pm (for ages 10-14) Instructor: Tai Teamer The New Orleans Ballet Association proudly partners with the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy to offer the After-School Ballet Program for students ages 6-13. The classes are made possible by Compliance Technology Group and are part of NOBA’s year-round education programs that provide tuition-free dance classes at 10 locations in Jefferson, St. Bernard and Orleans parishes through partnerships with the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC), Broadmoor Arts and Wellness Center and St. Bernard Parish Schools.
Tuition-free! Classes open to youth ages 6–13. *Copy of birth certificate required for 6 year-old students Placement depends on both age and experience level. Enrollment required and open through Sept. 22 or until classes are filled. Classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 5 and culminate in April, 2017 $5.00 Processing Fee due at time of registration. Cash only.
