Bring-A-Friend Day Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 10 a.m. (no Bible classes that day) we have an opportunity to invite our friends to worship with us in our tent. We’ll serve coffee and doughnuts at 9:45 a.m. Give out invitations to your friends and bring them to Bring-A-Friend Day 2017! 

SOAR Youth Rally SOAR stands for “Seeking Our Awesome Redeemer” and is a weekend youth rally sponsored by the Central Church of Christ in Augusta, GA each year for 8th through 12th graders around the southeast. This is their 15th year to host this event. It will take place the weekend of March 17-19, 2017. We hope that you will make plans to attend and be a part of SOAR 2017. Cost per teen/adult is $100. This includes a SOAR 2017 tee shirt, some meals, lodging, and more. A $35 deposit is due on 2/5/17 to secure your spot. You must be registered and the remainder of your money paid by 2/19/17. Spring Break Mountain Escape College students and anyone who can hike 5-7 miles without crying like a baby is invited to explore Cloudland Canyon State park in North Georgia. Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Class This class meets at the building on Thursdays at 10 a.m. and they will be continuing their in-depth study of lessons from the book of Acts. 

Sunday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class This class begins today, studying from “Fervent” by Priscilla Shirer, using the movie “The War Room” along with the book. If you want to purchase a book for $10, please see Renee McLaughlin. This class will be facilitated by Betty McCormick. 

“Marriage and Family Weekend” with Lonnie Jones January 28th and 29th By profession, Lonnie is a Licensed Professional Counselor. In addition, he is also board certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. As an LPC, he offers counseling services to individuals, couples and families. He has been in private practice since 1998. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a Youth and/or Family Minister with the Churches of Christ.
