HOLD HARMLESS/RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT FOR PARTICIPANTS IN THE PERRY CITY BUCKAROO RODEO 1.
Whereas, the Undersigned Participant desires to enter into a Hold Harmless/Release of Liability Agreement (“Agreement” with Perry City, to participate in the “Buckaroo Rodeo” (which includes any participation in Mutton Busting, Stick Horse Barrel Racing, Animal Chase, and other related events, etc.) to be held on Tuesday, June 30th (starting at approx 6:30 p.m.). at or near the Rodeo Grounds and Perry City’s Dale Young Nature Park; and
2. Whereas, the Undersigned Participant agrees to indemnify and hold Perry City, its officers, agents, officials and employees (collectively “Perry City”), harmless from any action(s) cause of action, claims for relief, demands, damages, expenses, costs, fees, or compensation (collectively “claims”), whether or not said claims are known or unknown, are in law or equity, and without limitation, all claims which can be set forth through a complaint or otherwise that may arise out of the acts or omissions, negligent or otherwise, of Perry City. 3. Now therefore, the Participants (a) acknowledge that they have been advised of the right to consult legal counsel and have waived said right; (b) understand and agree that, by signing this Agreement, they relinquish and waive all rights or claims to adjudication or recourse which they may be entitled to in relation to any damages or injury that may arise out of the above described event; (c) warrant that they voluntarily enter into this Agreement without any duress or undue influence of any nature by any person, and with full knowledge of the meaning and future effect of the promises, releases, and waivers contained herein; and (d) agree to assume all risk, chance, or hazard that any loss sustained by them may be greater or more extensive than is known, anticipated, or expected. ___________________ Participant’s Signature
