& PARTS COMPANY Reliable Power. Everywhere.
February 27, 2014 To: Mack Boring & Parts Company partners and associates Re: Larry Berlin Retirement
Dear Friends and Partners,
For45 years we have had the honor of Larry as the leader in our Training and Educational programsinitially as a founder of Engine City Technical Institute, and most recently as Director of Training Services Division at Mack Boring & Parts Company, always delivering excellence to countless students and the diesel engine industry. Overthe years, we consistently received feedback that Larry's passion for teaching was felt by each student who attended his classes. Many of you have gotten to know Larry over the years and have been fortunate to experience his unique teaching gifts and his love for our industry.
Larry will be retiring from Mack Boring & Parts Company effective this Friday, February 28, 2014. Larry has delivered so much, and impacted the regional diesel industry more than any single individual. We have
been privileged to have him contribute to our company and reputation for nearly half our existence.
Training and customer support remains at the core of Mack Boring, going back to our founder Edward McGovern, Sr. and the first diesel school in the country opened in the 1930's. While Larry has expanded this discipline to new heights, we will continue to invest and support our Training Services group and consider it a core strength that is necessary to develop the best dealer networks and highest satisfied customer base in the world.
Please join us in congratulating Larry for his accomplished career as we wish him the best in retirement from Mack Boring & Parts Company.
Sincerely,
Steve McGovern
