Abe Bernard Narlock, 84, of Warren, MN, formerly of Argyle, MN, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2018, in North Star Manor, Warren. He was surrounded by his family. Abraham was born on April 13, 1933, to Bernard “Barney” and Salomae :Mae: (Klava) Narlock, in Minto, ND. He grew up there with his four sisters, Ramona, Rita, Audrey, and Connie. He enlisted and served in the US Army from 1953-1961. On October 30, 1956, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Laura Mae Morin. They moved to California where they raised their four children, Sabrina, Susan, Shelly, and David. Abe worked as a tile contractor and was a master of his trade. His job took him to Arizona for a number of years before the family moved to North Dakota, where he worked for G.F. Marble and Tile. In the 1990's, Abe and Laura moved to St. Joseph, MO, to be closer to her parents. Abe enjoyed many things alongside his wife including gardening, antiquing, fishing, visiting flea markets, and going to tractor pulls. Laura passed away on April 14, 2000. In 2009, Abe moved to Argyle, MN, to be closer to family. Then in 2014, he resided in North Star Manor, due to his declining health and Parkinson's disease. As with all the places he lived, Abe was a diligent church-goer and had a strong faith. He had a quick wit about him, loved polkas and touched the lives of many. He will be greatly missed by all. Abe is survived by his children, Sabrina Srnsky of Belleair, FL, Susan (Rick) Kuhn of Grand Forks, ND, Shelly (Lynn) Safranski of Argyle, and David Narlock of Grand Forks; grandchildren, Crystal (Tim) Erhardt, Brandon Srnsky, and Tory Safranski; great-granddaughter, Chloe Erhardt; and sisters, Ramona Lizakowski, Audrey Martinovich, and Connie (Bob) Ray.
