TOOLS: Phillips #1 Screwdriver (1)

Step 1 — Top cover 

Remove the 4.76 mm Phillips #1 screw.

Step 2



Lift up the top of the mouse and pull the cover off.

Step 3 — Scroll Wheel



Gently take the scroll wheel and remove it from the mouse.

Step 4 — Support Spring



Carefully slide the support spring off the scroll wheel.

Step 5 — Attaching the New Spring



Replace the spring making sure it is placed on the right side of the wheel with the prongs pointing down.

 The right side is the side without the black plastic square as shown in the photos. Step 6 — Wheel Mount



Locate the black wheel mount.

 Note: Make sure that the spring hidden in the mount does not fall out. 

Separate the wheel from its mount.
