Yes. A deposit of 25% of the overall fee is required to reserve the date of your event. Deposits are refundable up until two months prior to your event, after which the deposit cannot be refunded. Can I use any caterer that I want? Yes. The Ballroom does not have catering. We recommend that you tell your caterer that we do not have a kitchen, and have them come visit the space in advance. We have caterers that we can recommend if you are looking for caterers that are familiar with our space. How does alcohol work at your venue? While you can use whatever caterer you want, alcohol needs to be purchased and served through us. There are a number of ways to set up the drink offerings at your event (cash bar, open bar, something in between). Please email
[email protected] for specific pricing. Do you have a kitchen? No. We have a sink, and a refrigerator that can be used for an extra fee. 861 Washington Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21230 (443) 669-‐3040
What kind of parking does the Ballroom have? Ballroom patrons use street parking. We are in a residential neighborhood and tend to have ample parking within a few block radius. Parking is restricted in certain areas only on days of stadium events. I am promoter. Can I host a party in your venue? Due to being in a residential neighborhood, alcohol restrictions, our precious hardwood floor, and a number of other obstacles, we no longer allow promoters to host parties at the ballroom. I’m not a promoter and I’m looking to host a birthday party/launch party/fundraiser. Can you accommodate my event? Our rules on these kinds of events vary. Please email
[email protected]. Can I charge admission for my event? If you charge admission for your event, you are responsible for paying Maryland Admission Tax (which is 10% off the top of all admission fees).
