SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PACKET
RENWICK EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS $700 Gold Award
To be used for post-secondary education such as college, vocational-technical school, trade school, etc. Awarded to current senior who has attended Andale High School or Garden Plain High School all four years.
$400 Black Award
To be used for post-secondary education such as college, vocational-technical school, trade school, etc. Awarded to current senior who has attended Andale High School or Garden Plain High School all four years.
$400 White Award To be used for dual high school/college credit at one of the cooperating universities serving Renwick USD 267. Awarded to current junior who has attended Andale High School or Garden Plain High School for three years.
Renwick Education Foundation will send scholarship monies upon receiving a copy of the student’s official fall class schedule which serves as proof of enrollment.

CHECKLIST
Scholarship Applicant: The following guidelines must be followed in order for your application to be considered for this scholarship: 1. All scholarship applicants must have at least a 2.5 grade point average. Please attach a current transcript. 2. All scholarship applicants must have attended Renwick High Schools four years if a senior; three years if a junior. 3. All scholarship applicants must submit a resume which includes participation in school activities, community service and/or work experience. 4. All scholarship applicants must submit letters of recommendation from two faculty members of their attending school. In addition to scholastic aptitude, the selection committee will look for candidates who reflect the District’s shared moral values. 5. Applicants must submit a qualifying typed paper of at least 500 words and no more than 750 words on one of the following topics: a) How Renwick education made an impact upon the student’s life b) Student’s interpretation of a good education c) How post-secondary education will help the student reach his/her goals.
6. The scholarship application, resume, letters of recommendation, transcript and the typed paper must be postmarked/turned in on or before March 31, 2017. Please return the completed packet containing all items listed in number 6 above to your high school counselor.
