Step 1 — Repairing Vizio Television Cable Connection First thing is removing the 20 phillips screws from the back plate. And if you're like me, you'll have to remove your wall mounting bracket as well.



 Don't forget 2 phillips screws in the motherboard area.

Step 2



After removing the back plate, you'll see some sweet stuff. We'll be focusing on the motherboard to the right. 

2 phillips screws hold down covers over your inputs.



Note this screw holds down both covers overlapping each other.



If you're like us, you notice the bottom cover does not move! 2 small phillips screws need to be removed before continuing.

Step 3



Once all removed you'll see that there is supposed to be a cable connection where you see a big hole.



You can then proceed to solder your new connection in like we did. If you decide to replace the entire part you'll need to remove the motherboard.... We'll save that for a different thread.

You can then put it all back together once again enjoy some cable TV!
