REPLACING ELECTRODES (H50, H100 and H200 systems) Worn out electrodes must be replaced in order for the system to carry on treating water effectively.
Replacement Electrodes are supplied pre-assembled, as shown in this picture. Each replacement contains: 1 set of 4,6 or 10 electrodes and cable connections; 1 o-ring retainer;

STEPS:
1.
Switch off skimmer valves, drain and vacuum and return points;
2.
Switch the 6-way valve to the “closed” position;
3.
Disconnect the two connectors between the ioniser cable and the cable connecte to the Hidrion electric switchboard (electrode outlet);
4.
Loosen and remove the M5 screws (4) and nuts from the ioniser using two spanners;

Remove ioniser from the PVC container;

Remove the used o-ring;
7.
Remove the top PVC lid from the cable, it will be used again;

8.
Put the new o-ring in place;
9.
Place the new ioniser inside PVC container;
10. Place PVC lid onto the container, threading it first onto ioniser cable;

11. Put in M5 screws (4) and respective nuts (4);
12. Be sure to tighten the screws with spanners so that o-ring does not come loose;
13. Connect ioniser cable and Hidrion switchboard connector cable (electrode t) through the connectors;
14. Open all valves which were closed at the beginning of the process;

15. Switch the 6-way valve to “filter” position; 16. Switch on the swimming pool pump; 17. Check for any water leakage through the o-ring or loose screws. If there is any, go back to step 8;
18. Finally, use the potentiometer to adjust current intensity to its normal level.
