Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand, so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you. For we do not want to boast about work already done in someone else’s territory. But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” - 2 Corinthians 10:15-17

Given Through Outreach over the Lifetime of our Church

See What God Can Do Through you

In 2015, I moved from Charleston, SC to Charlotte to attend a residential drug recovery program at the Charlotte Rescue Mission. I completed the program, but after only a few months I relapsed and came to the lowest point in my life. I felt lost and wondered if I even wanted to be alive. I started attending the recovery program again and it was during this time that I realized I needed to make a change if I ever wanted my life to amount to anything. I had heard about Elevation Church before, but I finally reached the point where I knew that God was the only one who could fix what I was facing. I started attending the Uptown location and soon began serving on the Production team every week. Being a part of something bigger than myself made me realize that God wanted to do more in my life. It opened my eyes to see that I had purpose and that God wasn’t finished with me. In Fall 2016, I made the decision to fully surrender my life to Christ. I knew God wanted my “all” and I was finally ready to give it to Him. Since then, I’ve graduated from the drug recovery program, found employment, and have even invited some of the guys from the Charlotte Rescue Mission to Elevation. To date, six of them have given their lives to Christ. I know God is moving in my life, and now it’s my passion to share hope with those who are ready to throw in the towel - just like I was.
