Student Athlete Advisory Committee
Wh a t is a Stud e nt-Athl e t e Advisory Committ e e? A Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on their experience. The SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes’ lives on NCAA member institution campuses. Functions of campus SAACs: Promote communication between athletics administration and student -athletes

SAAC has presented me with many different community service opportunities that have been eye opening as well as rewarding. SAAC has also given me the opportunity to interact with student athletes from other sports outside of both the classroom and athletics.”

“In July I had the opportunity to attend the MVC SAAC meeting and it was one of the best times of my life. Along with learning more about the SAAC program, I made life long relationships with the same people I compete against. I am very glad that I attended the meeting and I encourage more student-athletes to get involved in the SAAC program.”
