Role: As a member of the Retail & Admissions department you will join a dedicated team whose main focus is on delivering the very best service by welcoming, assisting and ensuring we are attentive to our guests at all times. The role is very varied and you could be involved with any one of over 15 locations the department is responsible for including retail shops and kiosks, ride photography kiosks, guest services, admissions, stock rooms etc. Duties and Responsibilities: 

Delivering excellent customer service



Adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures



Selling admission tickets and season tickets



Receiving, checking and pricing stock

 

Distribution of stock to various outlets Displaying, cleaning and generally maintaining stock



   

Prepare assigned area at the start of the day and close it down when instructed by management team Present, promote and maximize sales Cleaning and tidying of assigned area in general, including floors and windows Using EPOS systems Cash handling Assist guests with any queries they may have regarding either entry, merchandise or general Park information

Hours of Work: This is a seasonal position which includes weekends, school and bank holidays. Hours will vary dependent on the time of the year and flexibility is required to meet peak and off peak demands of the business.

Role Requirements: **Minimum age 16 years.** The job holder should be of strong character and possess good interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with all of our guests i.e. adults, children etc. as well as work colleagues. The role will involve working both indoors and outdoors therefore the job holder will need to be fit, like working in varying conditions and be prepared for a fair degree of walking and standing.



Ability to understand and implement instructions. Capacity to deliver results within agreed timeframe and inspire others to focus on achieving results/ targets. Qualifications/ Experience:

Sound numeracy, literacy and IT skills. A general level of ability and understanding is required for training. Specific retail and/ or customer service training would be an advantage. Previous experience of working in a busy, pressurized customer facing environment where you are required to interact with guests.
