were cut short by a diagnosis of brain cancer in November of 2002. Having cancer at such a young age made me often wonder, “why me?” While enduring 14 months of chemotherapy and radiation treatments I witnessed so many other children who

were also suffering from this horrific disease. I began to wonder, “why them?” No child should have to battle for his or her life. The alarming rise of childhood cancer is epidemic. Every child with cancer has a dream: a cure. My dream was farther reaching: to create a foundation dedicated to Childhood Cancer Awareness, Causes, and Cures. My dream came to fruition on September 15th, 2007
