REVERSIBLE QUILT AS YOU GO TABLE RUNNER 14½” X 40” SUPPLY LIST EACH SIDE requires the following: ¾ yard print for block triangles, sashing and binding One fat quarter of fabric for setting triangles ⅛ yard each of eight assorted prints for blocks Batting 3 squares, 10” X 10” 2 squares, 10½” X 10½”; cut once on the diagonal to yield 4 triangles Thread to match fabrics chosen for each side (variegated thread to match each side looks nice) Bobbins pre-wound in each thread chosen for this project Sewing Machine in good working order Walking Foot Topstitch 90/14 needle Sewing supplies: scissors, seam ripper, pins, etc. Rotary Cutter Small cutting mat Rulers: 12” X 12” square, 18” or 24” ruler, 6” ruler may be handy CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS Batting (see sizes in supply list above) Setting triangles:

From each fat quarter cut 1 square 14” X 14” Cut twice on the diagonal to yield four triangles

From each fabric cut 2 squares, 10⅜” X 10⅜” Cut once on the diagonal to yield 4 triangles Note: we will use only 3 of the triangles

Sashing strips Cut 6 strips 1¾” wide X width of fabric in fabric chosen for block triangles (Side A ¾ yard fabric) Cut 6 strips 1⅛” wide X width of fabric in fabric chosen for block triangles (Side B ¾ yard fabric) Binding Cut 3 strips 2 1/2” X width of fabric in a fabric that will look good on both sides Sewing on Folded Sashing Zig Zag Length 2.5 Zig Zag width 1.0

Flexible Cutting Instructions for an ALL SQUARE Reversible Quilt Cut batting the size of the finished block PLUS ONE INCH. If you want a finished 8” block, cut your batting 9” X 9”. For the large triangles cut fabric into squares ⅜” bigger than the size of your batting square and then cut them in half once on the diagonal. If you want a finished square of 8”, you will cut your batting 9 inches square, and your fabric for the large triangles 9⅜” square. Strips can vary in width for the other triangular part of the square block.
