Quilting 101 Class Supply List Date and Time of Class: ___________________________________________ Pattern and instructions will be provided. Fabric: This quilt is made with three fabrics. You will need: 5/8 yard of dark fabric for 9-patch blocks, 4-patch blocks and cornerstones 5/8 yard of light fabric for 9- patch blocks and inner border 3/4 yard of medium fabric for 4-patch blocks and outer border 1/2 yard fabric for binding 1 1/3 yards fabric for backing 44” square piece of batting (crib size) ½ yard of scrap fabric to practice cutting and stitching Equipment: 45mm rotary cutter with a new blade, 18” x 24”rotary cutting mat, 6” x 24”acrylic ruler and 12 ½” square acrylic ruler. Sewing machine in good working order, owner’s manual, quarter-inch foot, walking foot, new needle. Thread to match project, marking pencil, seam ripper, scissors, 505 Spray and Fix or size 2 curved basting pins, Machinger’s quilting gloves, 1” wide blue painter’s tape, basic sewing supplies. Box or bag to transport your cut fabric pieces and a notebook and pen or pencil for taking notes.
CLASS POLICY Payment is required upon registration. Store credit is given for any class you cannot attend only if Pieceful Quilting is notified one week prior to the class, afterward only if a replacement student can be found. No store credit will be given to students who cancel less than one week before class for any reason. Be sure to pick up the items on your supply list prior to class so you can be prepared with supplies and fabrics. Supply lists will be distributed when you register for the class. For classes cancelled by Pieceful Quilting you will receive a store credit or refund by check.
