“Bring Your Own Device” Technology Policy
NCS delivers the majority of it’s curriculum in an online format for grades 3rd-‐12th. All students in these grades are required to provide a computer for use at school. Acceptable devices include laptop computers with WiFi capability or a full-‐size tablet with portable keyboard and mouse. Before purchasing a computer or tablet, please consult the school office for more informa)on. The school will not be held responsible for loss or damage nor in maintaining the computers in any fashion. Parents are strongly encouraged to purchase insurance for their devices.
Fundraising and F.I.S.H. Hours
NCS is happy to allow families to earn unlimited account credit through our fundraising opportuni)es. Families may earn up to $200 per year per family through F.I.S.H. service hours (no more than $50 per quarter). These amounts will be credited to your account on a monthly basis as they are earned. Returning Students: (By Mar. 1st) $5650 $5357 $5065 Total Pre-‐Paid: (By Aug. 1st) If you pre-‐pay the full total tui)on by August 1st you will receive an addi)onal 2.5% off. No fundraising or service hours may be earned with pre-‐paid op)on.
Miscellaneous Invoices are always due on the 1st of every month. A recurring late fee of 10% will be applied on the 6th of each month for any invoice(s) not paid in full by the end of business on the 5th. Any invoice unpaid aher the 15th of the month will result in the student(s) not being allowed to aiend school or par)cipate in school ac)vi)es un)l the account is seiled. Also, there may occasionally be minor fees for field trips & other special events.
Payments Automa)c payment plans are easily available and strongly encouraged. Families who have 2 or more late payments at any )me during the school year may be required to enroll in automa)c payments for the remainder of the school year.
Withdrawal Policy Enrollment at NCS cons)tutes a contract for the en)re school year. If a student is withdrawn for any reason, a pro-‐rated balance of current tui)on & fees will be immediately due along with a $400 termina)on fee. All parents must sign a financial agreement prior to acceptance.
