Grab a worksheet at the front of the Museum and explore The Cutting Edge: A History of Technology and Richmond exhibit. Drop off your completed worksheet in the entry box for a chance to win a cool prize!
Cannery Crafts Rotunda, 9:30am-2:30pm
Learn how to lure a salmon and make your own colourful fishing hook. Want more of a challenge? Create your own unique salmon can label and you could win free entry into the Gulf of Georgia Cannery.

Let’s Make a Medicine Bag
Britannia Boatbuilders
Rotunda, 10am-2:30pm
Coast Salish Cultural Interpreter Roberta Price will share the historical teachings of the medicine pouch. Learn how to create your own medicine pouch.
Britannia Boatbuilders Plaza, 10am-2:30pm
Put your building skills to the test and put together a wooden model of a gill-netter fishing boat to take home, presented by Britannia Shipyard, National Historic Site.
