Invites you to join us at our Fourteenth Annual Raymond Benson is an award-winning and best-selling author, composer, computer game designer, stage director, film historian and film genres instructor for over thirty years. He is also the fourth—and first American—official author of the James Bond 007 novels. Mr. Benson is from Odessa and attended the University of Texas in Austin. Mr. Benson’s latest series, The Black Stiletto, features a 1950s costumed female vigilante, who in modern day, is struggling with Alzheimer’s disease when her son uncovers her amazing past. Mr. Benson will share with us his personal experience with Alzheimer’s and why he chose to feature a character with Alzheimer’s in this series. Mr. Benson will be available to sign books following the program.

Our Chapter, established in 1980, offers services to thousands of families affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias throughout our 37 county service area. Chapter staff offers support to individuals with dementia and their families as well as educating professionals and the general public about Alzheimer’s disease.
