RMA Oklahoma Chapter Meeting Oil & Gas Luncheon Presentors: Bob Ball joined the Tulsa Regional Chamber as Economist and Economic Research Manager in fall 2002. At the Chamber he writes the annual Economic Profile to assess business income and employment in Economic Development’s effort to grow the Tulsa area economy. Bob was previously with American Electric Power, where he developed regional economic forecasts and assessed impact of business development projects for an 11-state region. His economic research experience includes forecasting petroleum demand and supply and state revenue from energyrelated taxes. Ronald D. Ripple, PHD has studied oil and gas markets for over 32 years, starting as an economist in the Office of Budget and Management, in the Office of the Governor of Alaska. Ron joined the School of Finance, Operations Management, and International Business, Collins College of Business at The University of Tulsa in July 2013 following nearly five years with Curtin University in Perth, Australia. Ron has studied the economics of energy markets and the financial derivatives markets that play such an important role in this vital sector of the economy. Professor Ripple has published numerous academic papers, trade press articles, energy industry reports. Christy Daboval currently serves as the Energy Credit Concurrence Officer for BOk Financial Corp with responsibility for credit approval and oversight of the company’s $4B Energy portfolio. Ms. Daboval has been with BOk and its successors for 27 years – starting in the organization’s Loan Review Department before moving into a role as a Concurrence Officer approximately 10 years ago. Ms. Daboval’s banking career started with a position in the Credit Training program at Liberty National Bank in Oklahoma City upon her graduation from Oklahoma State University in 1985.

Welcome to Spring The RMA Oklahoma Chapter is opening spring of 2014 with a chapter meeting on April 10. Come join your fellow risk management professionals and learn what bankers should know about the oil and gas industry and how it affects banking and the economy. Making this presentation we have the two experienced presenters to the left. This presentation will mainly be over the oil and gas industry and how it affects the local economy. However it will also touch on topics such as financing oil and gas businesses. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions after the presentation.
