Hurricane Project Students in Mrs. Whorton’s class completed a science project studying hurricanes with Mrs. McKinney.

In Mrs. Gotcher’s science class, the students made volcanic islands from a hot spot. They were able to represent the moving plate that created the Hawaiian island chains.

The library is hosting a Coffee Shop week where students will present a book talk and enjoy a hot cup of cocoa, cappuccino, or water. 6th grade students will attend October 5-9. 7th grade students will attend October 14-16.

To Drill or Not To Drill In Ms. Walkers 6th period pre-ap World Geography class, they are studying a unit on Africa and the resources that are found there, such as oil. The students in this picture are having a debate titled "To drill or not to drill" for oil.
