­On Thursday 14th July 2011 The Standard Chartered Great City Race (5km) will be passing your building. The race will start at 7.15pm taking in several city landmarks including Tower 42, the Bank of England and St Paul’s Cathedral. The race will result in a number of road closures for a limited period. Road closures will be implemented between 6:30pm and 8:30pm, please refer to the map and list of affected roads overleaf for more details. THURSDAY 14TH JULY 2011 7:15pm Route of the Standard Chartered Great City Race

City Road (Start), Finsbury Square, Finsbury Pavement, Chiswell Street, Beech Street, Aldersgate Street, Aldersgate Street roundabout (Museum of London), Montague Street, King Edward Street, New Gate Street, Gresham Street, Wood Street, Cheapside, Prince’s Street, Lothbury, Bartholomew Lane, Threadneedle Street, Old Broad Street, London Wall (westbound), London Wall (eastbound), Moorgate, Finsbury Pavement, Finsbury Square, City Road (Finish). Buses will be diverted away from the race route between 18:30 - 20:30hrs. For more information phone 0843 222 1234 or visit www.tfl.gov.uk. Vehicle crossing point for residents and Barbican Centre (see map in red box above) Road closures will be in place around the route from 18.30hrs. Vehicles will be facilitated across the route at the identified crossing point (But not to travel along the route) until the time shown below. - Access to Silk Street and Barbican Centre via Whitecross Street (southbound) until 19.15hrs - Access away from Silk Street and Barbican Centre via Beech Street (westbound) until 19.15hrs The above crossing points are anticipated to be closed for approximately 15 minutes and will then reopen after the last runner has passed.

Any surplus from the event will go to supporting recreational facilities in the City of London and Islington
