Dollar Dress Fridays

designated for Dollar Dress Fridays
As discussed last year. We value instructional time, birthday parties are not permitted and are not part of the instructional day. We are allowing birthday/special occasion snacks be dropped off in the office.
If your child wishes to participate in Dollar Dress Fridays they will need to pay one dollar which is collected by his/her teacher. The money fundraised from Dollar Dress Fridays will go to help with field trips and incentives for students throughout the school year.
Welcome Back Students, this year brings wonderful surprises such as a brand new school. Construction is still not done so we are asking that you please follow any signs that may say “No entrance or are blocked off”.
Student Release and Transportation Changes: If changes need to be made please provide a letter to the main office or your child’s teacher. Stop by the front office to make any necessary changes. Students will not be removed from the bus after 2:00 p.m. Please make sure you pick up your child with enough time. ID is required upon pick up, please provide this to office staff when picking up your child. Uniform policy Chaparral Elementary Is a uniform school. Students are required to wear the school uniform daily for the exception of Dollar Dress Fridays and they must pay the dollar to participate.
As a precaution to students safety we are asking if parents would abide by school rules which consist of:
Dropping snacks off in the office which will then be delivered by office personnel at 1:45 p.m. Parents will not be allowed in the cafeteria to accompany their child during breakfast time. This is due to limited space and everyone’s safety.
The following is the required uniform: Khaki or Navy Blue Casual Style Slacks Shorts, skorts, or capris. (No jeans, sweatpants, leggings worn as pants, or colored pants). Uniform shirt must be polo style in a solid school color (Royal Blue, Navy Blue, Grey or White). Chaparral T-Shirts may be purchased at the school and could be considered as a uniform.

Open House The administration, faculty, and staff here at Chaparral Elementary would like to invite you to our open house on August 16, 2017 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. At this time you will get a chance to meet your child’s teacher and ask any questions you may have. We hope to see you here!!!
