Once again, we invite you to join us as we thank and celebrate all of our past chairman of the St. Louis Section. Without their hard work and dedication, this section would not be what it is today. Because of that, we have been able to increase the amount of scholarships we give out each year and promote our great industry which is the purpose of our organization. This year we will be going to Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, Illinois, a part of the St. Louis Metropolitan area. The track hosts Thoroughbred flat racing. It is one of five horse racing venues currently active in Illinois, and the only one outside the Chicago, Illinois metro area. The excitement and passion of racing is the heart and soul of Fairmount Park. Whether you are new to the sport, a seasoned veteran or somewhere in between, this particular American Welding Society St. Louis Section event is going to prove itself to be the most fun of the year.
