Coaches: Please complete and submit the OCCASIONAL MEALS Request form to the Compliance Office prior to the meal/road trip. If someone other than you is requesting the occasional meal, please have the RIT staff member that is providing the meal complete and return the form.
NCAA Bylaw 16.11.1.5 Occasional Meals: A student-athlete or the entire team in a sport may receive an occasional meal in the locale of the institution on infrequent and special occasions from an institutional staff member. An Institutional staff member may provide reasonable local transportation for student-athletes to attend such meals. A student-athlete or the entire team may also receive an occasional meal paid for or provided by an representative of the institution’s athletics interest (which includes parents) outside the locale of the institution as long as the meal is in conjunction with, ore en route to or from an away-from-home contest. Please attach a list of all student-athletes who will be attending.
