The Rock Wall Area, located in the Gymnasium offers a variety of climbing routes for all skill sets. Rock Wall Attendants provide guidance to climbers, encouraging them to challenge themselves and have an unforgettable time. Rock The Kroc Climbing Parties includes 1 hour in a party room and 1 hour on the climbing wall. Climbing wall equipment rental is included in your party package. Closed toe sneakers or climbing shoes are required. Parties are available on Saturdays Only and last a total of 2 hours. All climbers must sign a waiver before climbing. Please bring completed waiver to The Kroc Center at Party check-in. Any climbers under the age of 17 must have a parent or guardian signature. RENTAL CONDITIONS •
The Salvation Army is not responsible for the loss or damages of any equipment, supplies or property belonging to the Renter or attendees.
•
Organizations/individuals are required to clean-up after all events. All garbage must find its way to proper containers and tables/chairs should be placed back in the order/arrangement it was found in.
•
Organizations/Renters assume full responsibility for any damage to the facility and or equipment in the facility during the hours of the scheduled event.
•
Renter property must be removed from the facility at the time the facility is vacated.
•
Renters are expected to have space(s) cleaned-up and vacated upon the specified end time on the signed rental contract.
•
Alcohol, smoking and drug use is prohibited on Salvation Army property.
•
All individuals must shower before entering the pool
•
Closed toe sneakers or climbing shoes are required
•
All climbers must sign a waiver before climbing. Any climbers under the age of 17 must have a parent or guardian signature.
ADDITIONAL FEES: •
Renters will be charged $20 or 20% of the normal hourly rate, whichever is higher, per ten minute increments over the specified rental time.
DISCLAIMER: The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is not liable for any food borne illness related to external food brought in by outside groups. Outside food MUST be approved via the Special Events Office. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ In consideration of the privilege of using The Salvation Army’s property at 650 Dudley Street, Boston, MA 02125 we agree to assume the risk of any injuries, including death, that may be sustained by members of our organization or any person invited as part of our group in connection with the use of the said premises. Further, we agree to indemnify, hold harmless, assume liability for and defend The Salvation Army, its trustees, officers, members and agents form all costs and expenses including, but not limited to, attorney’s fees, reasonable investigative and discovery costs, court costs and any other sums which The Salvation Army, its trustees, officers, members and agents may pay or becomes obligated to pay for injury, including death, to persons or damage to property resulting from our use of said premises or from our actions or omissions and arising from any cause, including vehicles, except for matters causes by the negligence or willful misconduct of The Salvation Army or its trustees, officers, members and agents while acting within the scope of duties of such relationship to The Salvation Army.
