Passing the torch We would like to say a final thank you and farewell to Jane Mills, the previous Field Director for Mt. Pleasant Rocket Football. We thank her for her 15 years of dedication and hard work for the program. Jane stepped down after the 2013 season and passed along the Rocket torch to Nicole Mozurkewich. As the new President/Field Director, Nicole has the same dedication and determination to keep this program strong. Nicole has been working tirelessly to make improvements to the program and her enthusiasm is contagious to all that are involved in the program. You will see Nicole at the practice field, games and at various community events, please introduce yourself, as she is eager to get to know all Rocket athletes and families.
Fundraiser:
WELCOME! 2014 Board of Directors
On May 17, 2014, a fundraiser was held to kick-off the 2014 Rocket Football Season. The goal was to raise enough money to purchase new helmets for all of our players. The event drew more than 300 supporters, including about five-dozen Rocket players. We are pleased to announce that the goal was reached. This means, every player in 2014 will be equipped with a brand new helmet! We raised approximately $16,000 at the fundraising event and we also have four committed core sponsors, totaling $20,000.
Thank you to our Sponsors

MPHS FOOTBALL CAMP MPHS will be putting on their annual Rocket Football Camp on August 5-6 this year. More information to come regarding this event, but mark it in your calendars. The kids really love this camp and Coach McIntyre looks forward to the opportunity to work with the youth that will hopefully, someday, be part of his excellent varsity program.
