USAC license required. One-day licenses are available on-site for $10.00. Registration: Opens at 1:30 p.m. and closes 20 minutes prior to each event. Entry Fees: $20.00 pre-registration before 6:00 p.m. MDT on June 17, $30.00 on day of race. Second race will be $10.00. Free for kid’s races. $10.00 for Juniors. No pre-registration or late fees for Junior races. Riders can enter the criterium and Sunday’s road race on Saturday and pay $50.00 for both races. All USA Cycling rules apply – helmets required at all times when riding. Free lap rule in effect. Races held rain or shine. Course: A .7 mile, 10 block, 6 corner L-shape on city streets. Directions: From US Highway 30 take 3rd Avenue SW north to 4th St SW. Follow 4th St SW west around the curve to the north to 3rd St NW. Take 3rd St NW east to 2nd Ave NW then north to 6th St NW and east to the church parking lot. Registration is at the start/finish 2 blocks south of the church. State Center will be celebrating its 58th Rose Festival, http://www.statecenterrosefestival.org/, all weekend which includes the 7th Rose Festival Road Race on Sunday, June 19. Course: A hilly, 20.3 mile loop north of State Center, IA. Starts at the intersection of County E18 and S62 then proceeds west on E18, south on S52, east on E29, & north on S62. All road surfaces are smooth though there are some longitudinal cracks on S62. Directions: Take County S52 north from State Center to E18 and that east to Bangor at the intersection of E18 & S62. Bangor is unincorporated and not on the state transportation map. FEED ZONE: Feeding of riders can occur on the climb preceding the finish line on the first and second laps of the Men’s 1/2/Pro and Men’s 3 races and on the first lap of the other races. There are pit toilets but NO OTHER SERVICES. Bring your own food & water. The closest store is in State Center, 15 miles from the start. Please do not park in the Crop Production Services lot west of the park.
