In Loving Memory of Mrs. Rosella Helen Galbreath of Athabasca, beloved wife of the late Mr. Lute Galbreath, passed away peacefully at Athabasca Extendicare on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Rosella Helen Galbreath was born on March 31, 1930 at Buford, Alberta. She was the first child of Edward Nike and Katherine Nimco. Her younger years she lived in the New Pine Creek area until her marriage to Lute Galbreath December 27, 1949. They had two sons, Altie born in July of 1951 and Gary born January of 1955. Her years were spent being a homemaker until the boys were older and then she worked at various jobs and then hauled mail to Calling Lake until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and her yard work. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Marie, Allan, Melanie, Ben and Joe were special gifts to her and she enjoyed her time with them. We will miss her humour and wit and above all her enduring love. Rosella is survived by her two sons Altie (Isabel) Galbreath and Gary (Valerie) Galbreath; grandchildren Marie Seguin, Allan Galbreath, Melanie Galbreath; great grandchildren Ben Seguin and Joe Seguin; sister Carolyn Borodawka; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
