Rotary Hammer or Hammer Drill? You Decide.

W

hen needing to drill a hole in concrete, you ultimately have two choices. You can either use a large rotary hammer or a drill with a hammer-drill feature. Both of these tool options will pound through concrete, but offer different methods of doing so. With a rotary hammer, air is compressed by a piston putting the bit into movement. With a hammer drill, two ribbed metal discs cause impact by clicking against each other. Whether you are looking for a strong, powerful tool or an all-purpose driver, the following industry-leading products are sure to do the job.
