“As the President for the past 4 years I have heard many times that Veteran’s and our senior members of the Legion do not attend the Remembrance Day ceremonies due to the lack of washroom facilities. The washrooms would benefit not only Cranbrook residents but anyone stopping by to visit such a wonderful park.” Clive Brown President Branch 24 Cranbrook Royal Canadian Legion

Our Goal Festivals, markets, concerts, picnics and leisurely activities make Rotary Park a focal point in the community. However, the busiest park in downtown Cranbrook needs new washrooms. The Rotary Club of Cranbrook, working in liaison with the City’s Public Works crews and dozens of local suppliers are building new washrooms that will be accessible, clean, safe and available for all the citizens of Cranbrook to utilize during their visit to the park. The new washrooms will be 960 square feet, with heated wheelchair accessible washrooms and change rooms for the splash park. There will also be a separate washroom for use by families, and those with special sanitation needs. The new facility will also be kept open year round, 18 hours per day. With your support; seniors, parents, walkers and cyclists participating in any and all activities in the downtown core will always have access to a washroom. Let’s make it happen!
