ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A PAIR OF SHOES THAT WILL BE LEFT IN THE CLASS ROOM FOR CLASS ROOM WEAR ONLY
Important Notes For 2nd and 3rd Grade: The colors of the notebooks and folders are important, because all students will be assigned a certain color for groups and subjects. Please do not write any names on supplies. Many will be used as community supplies. Please do not send in any special folders, notebooks, or pencils of any kind. They will be sent back home and I don't want to waste your money. Where certain brands are noted it is because of quality. In my years of teaching I have found that these brands will last all year, whereas other brands must be bought an additional 2-3 times throughout the school year. The quality it produces is also a significant difference and students will take better pride in their work and be neater. So, if you can do so please consider purchasing what is noted. If you are unable to do so, then please just let me know and I can help.
Grade 4/5 – Ms. Wheeler • 3 composition notebooks (vocabulary, writing, and reading) • 1 large 3 ring binder (think Trapper Keeper – students will be keeping their folders within their binders to help keep work together) • 6 two pocket folders (preferably with holes pre-punched for binder) • Binder paper, college ruled (no spiral notebooks!) to place in class supply • Graph paper to place in class supply • Size 7 mechanical pencil with replacement lead (I have found these to work far better for the children as they do not have to get up from their seats as often to sharpen their pencils) – should you prefer the traditional pencil, #2
