New to the Rampage this year is the "Race Village" featuring food from local restaurants, a bounce house courtesy of the City of Hyattsville, and a beer garden brought to you by Hyattsville's very own Franklin's Brewery. Catch the race village on Church Place just in front of Vigilante Coffee Company. Housekeeping: -Restrooms will be located in the Hyattsville Municipal Building, in the middle of the course on Gallatin Street. -Registration will be through the USAC website. ACCC, please use invoice code. Pre-reg is encouraged. $5 surcharge for day-of. One-day licenses will be available for $10. Registration will be located in Arrow Bicycle and close 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. -Plan to arrive early, shutting down half of Route 1 causes plenty of traffic. -The promoter reserves the right to eliminate any field that does not have at least 15 riders registered by March 18.
The 1 mile course runs clockwise in 4-corner circuit starting and finishing on the scenic US1. During the journey, riders will climb 80 feet per lap through the vibrant 42nd Street neighborhood of Hyattsville's Arts District. Toping out at 14%, the locals say 42nd Street is enough to challenge even the strongest of the ACCC. Podiums! If you’re lucky enough to finish 1-2 or 3, or win a prime, we’ve got some prizes for you. The ceremonies will take place for both open and collegiate riders at the Race Village in front of Vigilante Coffee Company. There will be three ceremonies throughout the day: Noon: For races beginning between 8am and 10:45am 2:50pm: For races beginning between 11:55am and 1:45pm 6:45pm: For races beginning between 3:10pm and 6:10pm Juniors: Collegiate fields are open only to full time collegiate students with valid USAC Collegiate licenses and full time high school students with valid USAC Junior licenses.
