What’s the role of the Rowland Raider Huddle Club (RRHC): Encourage and advance the football program at Rowland High School Our main objective is to Raise the funds necessary to support the Rowland Football Program Parents participation is a MUST
owland Raider Huddle Club June 4, 2016 The Rowland Raider Huddle Club is a non‐profit organization established to be the primary source of fundraising for the Rowland High School football team. The Rowland Raider Huddle Club consists of concerned parents, grandparents, siblings and friends of our players participating in the football program, which facilitates the fundraising activities each year to meet the growing expenses of the program. Our football program budget this year is $72,000. Our organization utilizes all fundraising, including those raised from the TNT Fireworks Stand, to offset the cost of equipment, uniforms, coaches’ workshops and stipends and other cost related to the program. All monies raised by our organization are returned to the program 100%. You and your student athlete are a part of the Rowland Raider Huddle Club organization, without your participation the program will not work. We are working parents just like you, who are working to make a positive impact for the student athletes participating in Rowland Football. As a non‐profit organization, we depend not only on fundraising, but also on the contributions from families that voluntarily participate in this program to cover a large portion of related costs. Each practice / scrimmage / game / football related activity has associated costs that must be paid for in order for our players to fully participate. That being said, here’s how you can make a difference: Participate in all fundraisers (fireworks stand, snack shack, etc…) Volunteer for one of the many positions (Freshman/JV/Varsity Liaison, Web Master, etc…) Make your player financial contribution Attend Huddle Club monthly meetings Show up for your student athlete’s games, be in the stadium and make plenty of noise! Don’t just know the coaches; make sure the coaches know who you are.. We want you to come on board and be a part of your student athlete’s experience. This will support and promote the education, general welfare and morale of all student athletes’ within the program. Huddle Club Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the faculty lounge (next to the Hide Out). You are always welcome to join us. Sincerely,
Nat Ornelas
