The Strand in Zelienople Rise & Shine the Jay DeMerit Story tells the story of Jay, a US Men’s National Soccer Player and Captain of the MLS Vancouver Whitecaps. Come see the story of a dream, of hard work, and the success of Jay in the soccer world! Kick If for Kylee’s mission is to help ease the financial burden on parents who have a child with a severe life threatening medical condition the North Pittsburgh area. We believe soccer is more than a game and that the values of hard work, dedication, and teamwork extend far beyond the soccer field. This year’s recipient is Riley, who will celebrate her 3rd birthday on March 31st. She has more than her fair share of medical concerns including the need for a Bowel Transplant and a chronic lung disease that leaves her on a ventilator much of the time. Join us as we celebrate her life, the game of soccer, and perhaps raise some money to help cover the cost associated with her medical treatment.
