IT BEGAN WITH A WORLD-CLASS IDEA Archie K. Davis’ belief in the potential for what the Research Triangle Park could become and his determination, dedication and leadership were all well founded. Today, even he might be surprised at the dynamic growth the RTP continues to experience. With over 7,000 acres,170 companies and 42,000 knowledge workers, the RTP is truly entering its next half century as a proven world-class idea. A Growing Reputation as a World-Class Meeting Facility At the heart of it all is the RTP Headquarters and Conference Center facility. Opened in 2008, the RTP Headquarters was recognized with the prestigious LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building ®
Council later that same year. The Conference Center facility represents 6,800 square feet of the most advanced meeting facility space and logistics available. Meeting Rooms A and B can be configured to suit individual needs, and all rooms offer state-of-the-art technology. A Closer View Meeting Rooms A and B can be utilized separately or combined to accommodate up to 200 people in theater style seating. Additional seating configurations are easily accommodated with the availability of furniture and equipment on site. The Briefing Center conveys a boardroom style atmosphere for up to 18 around an inlaid granite table. Full presentation capabilities and audiovisual services are available in all meeting rooms to augment your event. Adjacent to the meeting rooms is a Pre-Function area overlooking a relaxing courtyard. This space is ideal for food presentation, social networking or as an extension to your meeting space.
