Class Description: Learn how to make this darling and fun skirt! The design is flattering for all figure types and young and not-so-young alike!
Supplies Required: • Ruffle fabric of choice (Yardage will vary depending on size and length desired. Contact Susie for help.) Elastic to fit waist measurement (preferred elastic is available at SFTH and will be an exposed elastic application) Thread to coordinate with fabric; cotton is not recommended for this project Good quality scissors Good quality pins or fabric weights Marking pens or pencil Tape measure
All classes, seminars, workshops and events require registration. Credit is issued to students canceling a week or more in advance of the class date. Credit is only issued in the form of store credit. Credit will not be given to students making cancelations less than a week in advance. Store credit or make up classes are not provided to no shows.

Good quality fabric scissors Small scissors or thread nips Straight pins 6” seam gauge or ruler Seam ripper Fabric marker Assorted machine needles Pen and paper for notes Any other items you commonly use (Please call us with questions)
STUDENTS: YOUR MACHINE AND EMBROIDERY UNIT SHOULD BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. PLEASE COME WITH KNOWLEDGE OF OPERATIONS SUITABLE FOR THE CLASS CONTENT. SEWING MACHINE: YES EMBROIDERY MODULE: SERGER FEET REQUIRED: #34, 34C OR 34D are recommended; not required NEEDLES REQUIRED: Universal or ball point size 80 is recommended; no sharp needles as the ruffle fabric is a knit COMPUTER: USB STICK: SOFTWARE: DESIGNS PRE-LOADED ON EMBROIDERY MACHINE: ADDITIONAL NOTES: Zigzag stitch will primarily be used to construct this skirt. Bring your best presser foot for zigzag; the #34 foot gives good visibility for this technique.
